Shift Work

An Unforgettable Experience

When you spend the summer planting, your priorities get simplified: eat, sleep, and plant trees. You work harder than you’ve ever worked, challenging your mind and body and pushing yourself to new limits. You spend your nights in a tent under the stars and your days working in the forests. It’s likely the most time you’ve ever spent outside in your life.

Bonds That Last A Lifetime

You’ll meet some of the best people you’ve ever known, who share every part of the experience with you, and who become the reason you come back each season.

High Wages For Planting Staff

At Integrity Reforestation, we firmly believe that good work should be rewarded with good pay. Earning between 13.5 -18 cents per tree, our planters are among the best compensated in the industry, a testament to the value we place on their crucial role in our shared mission. Crew bosses earn 2 cents per tree planted by their crew, usually earning $500-$700 per day.

Impeccable Equipment

We exclusively use new vehicles. This allows us to safely transport our crews to and from worksites each day with minimal to no breakdowns, creating a high standard for operational efficiency.

Shift Work

Our crews typically operate on a four days on, one day off schedule. This schedule is occasionally adjusted for operational requirements like completing a project or moving camp. Additionally, there will be select occasions throughout the season where two consecutive days off are provided to help planters rest, recover, and heal.

Days Off

An opportunity to recharge, run errands and explore

Days off are an essential opportunity for rest, errands, and recreation, helping planters recharge and stay prepared for the physical demands of the season.

On days off, the entire camp is taken into town by the management team and is given the day to perform personal errands, such as:

  • Buying food and supplies
  • Doing laundry (also available in camp)
  • Picking up any additional items needed for camp or planting

Occasionally, we organize camp-wide activities where we can explore the local area and unwind. These may include:

  • Beach days at nearby lakes
  • Hikes to scenic locations, such as waterfalls
  • Group outings in town, such as bowling or mini-golf

Bush Fridays

As the last day of the shift draws to a close, a palpable excitement builds among the crew.

There's a special kind of magic that fills the air on "Bush Fridays". It's a time to let loose, celebrate our collective achievements, and share in the camaraderie that only those who have toiled together in the heart of the wilderness can truly understand. The sounds of laughter and music replace the usual hum of nature, as everyone comes together in festive spirit. Dancing beneath the canopy of stars, swapping stories of the week's triumphs and challenges, and simply enjoying each other's company, "Bush Fridays" are a cherished tradition that encapsulates the essence of our tight-knit community. It's a testament to the bonds formed and the joy of shared experiences in the great outdoors.

In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment, our drug and alcohol policy is strictly enforced.
