Sustainable Business: Our Partnership With Orca Intelligence Inc.

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with supply chain optimization provider, Orca Intelligence Inc. When we had our first meeting with Orca’s CEO, Matt Grossi, it was clear that there was a genuine desire to use their business as a force for good and help to restore Canada’s tree cover, helping to sequester carbon and purify the air that we breathe. Their enthusiasm for environmental action was palpable. We are thrilled to be working with such a committed partner, who will help us continue to plant trees in Canada’s wildfire-impacted forests.

As members of the transportation community, Orca is aware of the profound impact that their industry has on the environment, particularly through carbon emissions from transportation activities. Demonstrating their commitment to lessening this environmental effect, they have initiated a program to offset a portion of their clients' carbon footprint by funding tree planting projects. This proactive strategy aims to promote a healthier Earth for future generations by enhancing biodiversity and natural landscapes, thus aiding in mitigating the effects of climate change.

Furthermore, this initiative fosters a culture of sustainability throughout their organization by instilling a sense of pride and shared purpose among their team members. Ultimately, their dedication to providing financial support for tree planting reflects their larger goal of conducting business ethically and sustainably, ensuring that their services contribute to a more environmentally-friendly world. Through initiatives such as this one, Orca endeavors to inspire a wave of positive change, demonstrating to their clients and vendors—regardless of whether their operations are rooted in software, clothing, or electronics—that there exists a profound connection to nature. Their aim is not only to offset emissions but also to cultivate a legacy of environmental stewardship that others can emulate, nurturing hope for a world where commerce and conservation coexist harmoniously.

All funds from this partnership will support our wildfire reforestation initiative in Ontario, Canada.
