I have spent the past 15 years working on reforestation projects throughout Canada. Starting as a tree planter myself I fell in love with the work, lifestyle and meaningful bonds created along the way. Over the years I transitioned into management and have worked with and trained thousands of tree planters, crew bosses, supervisors, tree deliverers and tree quality assessors, developed strong relationships with the forest community in Canada and have remained a student of the diverse complexities of forested land, soils, microsites and wildlife. During this time, I have overseen 200+ million trees get planted.
After years of doing work on myself, processing my traumas, discovering more about who I am and what my purpose is on this planet, I developed a strong sense of my personal values and decided to start a new social enterprise - Integrity Reforestation. The purpose of our work is to learn more about ourselves as we conduct meaningful work.
Integrity Reforestation is an attempt to scale reforestation by empowering local organizations to plant and cultivate trees, convert degraded lands to forested land and improve the health of ecosystems. We see our work as being of service to the planet, to humanity and to the continued healing and integration of ourselves.
This season we are gearing up to plant roughly 4.5 million trees, starting in the first week of May. We have an incredible team of employees and are very excited to gather in the bush as soon as the snow thaws!
In addition to our in-house reforestation operations, we provide training, mentorship, resources, and professional expertise to local organizations to empower them to do the work to restore and regenerate degraded land.
Thank you for your interest in what we are doing. Let's work together!
